INGREDIENTS:

2 Cups Sour Yogurt

1 Cup Self Rising Flour

1-1/2 Cup All Purpose Flour

1 Tspn Salt

1 Cup Onions Diced small

2 Tbspn's Thai Chilies minced Oil To Fry

METHOD:

1. Whisk Yogurt and add all the above ingredients in a bowl & mix. Make like Hush puppies or Gulab Jamoon balls and drop in hot oil.

2. Deep fry 6-7 min on med high until golden brown. Yields around 45 Pongadalu.

Tip :

Take a very small steel ice-cream scoop around the size & shape of a tablespoon, dip in hot oil & scoop balls of dough & drop in oil. Hand is not messy and free to fry with your right hand. Moreover we get appealing uniform size balls that fry evenly.
